   Welcome to the newest version of the DivX Player. This new 
   release is so good that we decided to jump all the way from 
   version 2 to version 6! 

   DivX Player 6 brings you fully integrated support for the DivX
   Media Format - a new file format that brings a true home 
   entertainment experience to your desktop through a variety of
   new features. Interactive video menus, chapter points, 
   XSUB(tm) subtitles, multiple audio tracks and XTAG(tm) video 
   information are all supported through the DivX Player.

   The DivX Player brings all of the latest DivX Media Format 
   features together in its redesigned menu architecture and user
   preference screens. The new DivX 6 video decoder is also 
   included for improved playback performance and video quality.

   * Support for multiple titles

     The DivX Player can now play DivX Media Format files that
     contain multiple titles. Add special features or bonus 
     materials to your .divx files and experience them in all 
     their glory through DivX Player 6!

   * Support for interactive menus

     The DivX Player can now play and navigate DivX Media Format
     interactive menus for a true home entertainment experience.

   * Support for subtitles

     The DivX Player now supports up to eight XSUB subtitles per
     title. Language defaults can be set via the player 
     preferences.

   * Support for multiple audio tracks

     The DivX Player now supports up to eight audio tracks per 
     title. Language defaults can be set via the player 
     preferences.

   * Support for chaptering

     The DivX Player can now read and navigate chapters in a 
     DivX Media Format title allowing you to skip straight to 
     your favorite parts of the movie.

   * Support for metadata

     DivX Player can now read and display XTAG(tm) video tags.
     Store movie information in your .divx file and access it 
     through DivX Player while you watch.

   * Improved startup performance

     The DivX Player now takes less time to load on most
     systems, so you can start watching all your favorite
     DivX movies faster than ever before.

   * Updated menu and preferences structures

     The right-click menu and user preference screens have been 
     significantly reworked to facilitate access to DivX Media
     Format features, preferences and new decoder features.

     Tip: Use the middle mouse button or mouse wheel to gain 
     quick access to DivX Media Format feature menus.

   * Includes new DivX 6 decoder

     The DivX 6 decoder is included for improved playback 
     performance and video quality. Experience stunning DivX 
     High Defintion video like you've never seen it before!
